This book was very helpful to my 19-year-old nephew. At that age, most of us feel lost as we enter adulthood, so this book is ideal if you have young people at home as well. The book covers many topics such as mastering your finances, navigating the world of careers, learning to communicate effectively, and the importance of choosing and nurturing your personal relationships. Something I found very interesting is that, in addition to the aforementioned topics, it also touches on personal growth and how to maintain mental health. The book is a gem as it teaches young people everything from how to budget and manage their money wisely to how to write a resume for their first job, find their passion in their hobbies, make repairs, do laundry, and more. Highly recommended; my nephew loved it too.
This book is a breath of fresh air, not the same skills book. I really like that this book covers not only finances, career plans, time management, but communication, health and wellness. Also house skills such as basic cooking skills, meal preparation and more.

It is easy to get down on yourself and start the process of negative thinking. This is where you always assume the worst about others and , more importantly, yourself. This type of thinking can lead to depression and self-doubt, both of which can drag you down in all aspects of your life. This book helps to break that cycle, stop the negativity, and bring back positive ways of thinking. The author provides many different strategies to help with this, and most of them can be applied immediately. If you find yourself struggling with your inner thoughts and being your worst cheerleader, then this is a read you have to get into soon.
